This video that I found is extremely important in today's society. I chose this because integrating technology in the classroom is 100 percent a win situation. In today's world we are all constantly addicted to our computers, phones, iPads, etc... And so if we can use those in the classroom that is very engaging for the student which will enhance their want to learn something new that will be taught using technology. This teacher mentions how she uses free apps for the students to use in class and her goal is for them to be so excited using them then to go home and continue their learning. She had mentioned how neat it is to have the students use iMovie, for example, to have them create a movie about their life and then are many ways that you can integrate reading, writing, speaking, and of course technology skills all at once while doing this assignment. The students are already doing these things outside of class for personal use so why not include these and collaborate with subjects and enhance learning.
